CHAPTER 10 - THE NATURE OF FRUITIVE ACTIVITY
Chapter 10 contains 33 verses and it is divided into 9 classes, totaling 4:06 hours.

In this class, we hear directly from Krishna powerful verses concerning the futility of material life and the importance of transcending matter. In this class, we covered verses 11.10.2-4.
In this class, we hear directly from Krishna about the guru and his or her qualities, and the qualities of the disciple, and the 2 main guiding principles to be followed by the spiritual seeker, 1) not being the doer and 2) not being the proprietor, which are fundamentally important mentalities to develop in the spiritual path. In this class, we covered verses 11.10.5-6.
Krishna brilliantly summarizes the basic concepts of spiritual life in these verses. In the class, we explained the issue of proprietorship, attachment, the nature of the soul, and the power of transcendental knowledge. In this class, we covered verses 11.10.7-10.
In this class, Krishna explains the importance and the effect of knowledge in changing our existence. He then talks about the guru-disciple relationship and its purpose. And lastly, he compares the spiritual path with the materialist lifestyle. In this class, we covered verses 11.10.11-17.
We take a joy ride through the Universe in this class, as we explain life in the heavenly planets, riding in a glowing spaceship, as Krishna explains the faults of material living, even up to these out-worldly levels. In this class, we covered verses 11.10.18-26.
In this class, Krishna warns us of how we become degraded and suffer. He outlines the downward spiral we create for ourselves, forcing us to take births, dependent on fruitive activities. In this class, we covered verses 11.10.27-29.
Krishna continues to explain to Uddhava the crushing importance of taking to the spiritual path and He then explains very important verses on HOW the soul is stuck here, life after life. In this class, we covered verses 11.10.30-32.
In this class Krishna explains the nature of maya, His illusory potency, and how we souls are never really liberated our conditioned by material nature, but only think ourselves to be. Deep spiritual teachings from Krishna and previous spiritual masters are shared in this class and are sure to deepen your understanding and give you a glimpse of profound spiritual reality.
